About me

I am a PhD student in the embedded systems lab at the University of Michigan studying computer science under Prabal Dutta. I focus primarily on creating usable, high-fidelity face-to-face interaction sensing systems. Previous systems have either suffered from low usability due to infrastructure-dependent operation, or from low data resolution. Our system, Opo, offers infrastructure-free operation, 2 s temporal resolution, and 5 cm spatial resolution for tracking face-to-face interactions. Recently, I have started looking into convenient ways of getting sensor data from the field to the cloud via smartphones.
